MGA Roadster

Following the MG family tree forward, the MGA represents the dawning of the modern era in sports car design after a period of 'retro' MG models up to 1955. Nowadays the lines of the 'A' are pure and evocative of the late 'fifties, rather than somewhat shockingly modern. Equally the performance is adequate rather than ground-breaking. Make no mistake that the MGA is an all time classic and a 'must-drive' experience for anyone with any interest in English sports cars.

Probably the MGA is an ideal compromise for those wanting a more modern feeling drive, yet with true classic credentials. There is no problem about covering reasonable distances in this car and there is some limited luggage room and weather protection available. Like all MG’s there is a solid ’Safety Fast“ sense about the MGA which gives comfort that the car will take you where you wish without mishap.
