Over the years we have become somewhat weary of the congested drive to the south coast of England, the high tariffs on the ’civilised“ ferries or tunnel, the long drive through some frankly uninspiring parts of northern France; all in order really to get yourselves and your chosen means of transport into the better weather and traffic-free roads of the southern half of France...

We feel we have the original and best solution to this problem! Store a car from your collection with us for part, or all, of the year. Then simply call us up and book a low-cost flight on the net – those fares for a penny really are around at the moment – and we’ll do the rest!

We will meet you at the airport, bring you back here for a good dinner and to a comfortable bedroom. Your car will be gleaming and ready to go, with any small jobs you needed doing also fixed by our amazingly cheap experts locally – and fully ready to enjoy.

We think, if you do the sums, you’ll see you are well in pocket compared with flogging down here for a short break. But also just look at the saving in hard work and lost enjoyment when time is always precious!

The situation of the Charente is ideal for the Atlantic coast, the Pyrenees and Spain as well as the whole of the wider south-west of France.

This is also a great arrangement for those doing several Continental rallies and events in the year who want a base or HQ for their cars in a nice and safe location between their trips. The Logis du Paradis is just the spot for a bit of rest and relaxation after a hard rally, too.

We are very happy for owners to be spontaneous and just give us a day or two’s notice of arrival. We have full Garage insurance and which insures cars up to a high value.
