Spacious and luxurious Guest rooms
Each spacious bedroom has a Super King-size bed (1.80cm wide x 2m long), which can also be converted into two singles (90 cm wide) if preferred. The two rooms on the ground floor can also be interconnecting, as can two of the rooms on the first floor.
Each of our five guest bedrooms has its own en suite bathroom with bath and separate WC. Except in the case of our fifth bedroom where the WC is within the en suite bathroom. In addition, the two rooms on the ground floor have walk-in showers, whilst those upstairs have baths with hand showers. All linen and towels are provided.
In each bedroom there are comfortable chairs with space to relax. The two downstairs bedrooms have French windows to their own terrace areas with garden furniture. The three upstairs bedrooms are even larger and have individually controlled air conditioning. All bedrooms have good heating for the cooler seasons.
All bedrooms have a modern flat screen TV and a satellite decoder with large choice of channels. Internet access is available at Reception
NEW SELF-CATERING APARTMENTS
We are offering two beautifully converted cottages, freshly finished, in the former Cognac ’chais“ (originally the stables when the Logis was a Royal cavalry base), each sleeping 4 persons in great comfort. They are each ideal for 2 couples wishing to be based in the Grande Champagne Cognac region, living more independently, and with more space and still having use of the facilities at Le Logis du Paradis. A high degree of comfort and privacy is offered for visitors within each cottage, with very generous bathroom facilities.
Each cottage has exposed beams, stone window surrounds offering local character yet also offers a luxuriously equipped modern kitchen, comfortable living area and private terrace plus two excellent modern bedrooms with (at least) one ensuite bathroom per bedroom; see individual descriptions.
Rentals are per week with a changeover day on FRIDAY.
Linen and towels are provided and all utilities are included in the rental, except telephone (but Wifi is available). A starter pack of provisions is supplied in each kitchen. Regretfully no children under 12 and no pets.
My first impressions, as I woke from a deep sleep, were of the sun streaming through the billowing white fabric curtain of our open French windows and near silence, just birdsong and possibly a tractor in the far distance. The ancient carved stonework of the fireplace in our bedroom reminded me that we were staying at Le Logis du Paradis.
